The 100th PGA Championship takes place this week at Bellerive Country Club in Town and Country, Missouri. The last major of the year will likely produce one of the best finishes of golf for the year with all the major contenders finding form recently. Justin Thomas won last week, Dustin Johnson the week before, Tiger, Day, Fleetwood, Rahm and McIlroy have all been around the mark lately. I’m excited for the golf that lies ahead this week and have tried to pick my best PGA Championship betting tips for you to take advantage of.

The Golf Course

Bellerive Country Club is not necessarily a long course but the rough and trees will pose a hazard for anyone missing fairways, as we know it is crucial to hit greens in majors and it will be tough to do that from the rough so i’ll be looking for straighter players off the tee.

Drone Flyover

The weather is predicted to be hot and perfect for all four days of the tournament. Thursay and Friday will be 34 degrees celcius with a maximum wind of 10km/h and Saturday and Sunday are forecast for 31 degrees celcius with a maximum wind of 11km/h. The weather conditions will not favour any side of the draw or any specific type of player.

The Tips

Best Bet (Winner Market)

Tommy Fleetwood – $26 @ Ladbrokes (Bet Now)
Ranks third in total driving on the PGA tour which takes into account the length and accuracy off the tee. He’s been playing solidly lately contending in his last three tournaments he’s played.

Second Best (Winner Market)

Jon Rahm – $26 @ Ladbrokes (Bet Now)
The hot golfer of the start of the year is finding form again and I expect him to be in contention come Sunday. Great driver of the ball when he is on.

Roughies (Winner Market)

Tony Finau – $41.00 @ Ladbrokes (Bet Now)
Tony is looking to break through for his first major victory, he’s long and straight off the tee and loves the big stage.

Thorbjorn Olesen – $67.00 @ Ladbrokes (Bet Now)
Finished T3 on a similar course last week, $67 is great odds for the Thunder Bear.

Henrik Stenson – $51.00 @ Ladbrokes (Bet Now)
Driving will be crucial this week with the rough thick and long, Henrik Stenson is the straightest driver in the game and hits greens to back it up.

Top 5

John Rahm Top 5 – $6.00 @ Ladbrokes (Bet Now)
The hot golfer of the start of the year is finding form again and I expect him to be in contention come Sunday.

Tommy Fleetwood Top 5 – $6.00 @ Ladbrokes (Bet Now)
Has been playing great and proved he can contend in Majors.

Top 10

Tony Finau Top 10 – $4 @ Ladbrokes (Bet Now)
Has finished top 10 in all majors this year, he has the game for this course.

Thorbjorn Olesen Top 10 – $6 @ Ladbrokes (Bet Now)
Thunder Bear played great at the Open and backed it up last week in the Bridgestone Invitational. Look for him to contend at the PGA which is a similar course to last week.

Ryan Moore Top 10 – $11 @ Ladbrokes (Bet Now)
Is accurate off the tee which will be a big help this week, I don’t think he can win but a top 10 finish won’t surprise me.
