After a week off we’re back with tips for round 14 of the AFL season, lets get into it.
West Coast V Essendon

Sydney V Hawthorn
Sydney are coming off the bye this week after finding some better form in the weeks leading up to the bye.
Hawks were beaten by the Bombers last week and lost the one before the bye against the Lions.
Sydney will come into this game fresh and welcome Josh Kennedy, Will Hayward and Zak Jones back. The form of Sydney is better and I expect them to win comfortably at home.
Match Prediction – Sydney by 25
Melbourne V Fremantle
Freo are coming off a great win against Port Adelaide last week and have been easing into the season with players like Fyfe and Walters really firing up in recent weeks.
Melbourne are sitting on 3 wins for the year and they barely have a player that could hold their head high this year with the exception of Max Gawn.
The last three times these two teams have played at the MCG Fremantle have won all of them so the home ground advantage doesn’t mean much for the Dees.
Freo are the outsiders in this match and they don’t deserve to be, Freo to win at $2.10 is a good bet.
Match Prediction – Fremantle by 21
St Kilda V Brisbane
The Saints welcome Carlisle and their new recruit Hannebery into the team this week, these two players need to have an instant impact.
Brisbane have been good this year but their game in round 12 at Marvel against Carlton really showed they can be beat quite easily as long as you shut down Lachie Neale.
The Saints have beaten the Lions the previous 4 times and if they shut down Neale they could get a nice win over the Lions this week.
Match Prediction – St Kilda by 38
Betting Tip – St Kilda over 15.5 points – $3.60 @ BetEasy – Click here to see the market
Port Adelaide V Geelong
Port came off the bye and were beaten by Fremantle last week. They are currently sitting in 9th on the ladder and happily welcome Ollie Wines, Brad Ebert and Charlie Dixon this week
Geelong have been excellent this year no matter where the game has been played. The talent runs deep in this team and they don’t rely on any one player.
Geelong have won the last 4 matches between these two teams with three of those played at Adelaide Oval.
The Cats should win this and the line of -13.5 looks a little low
Match Prediction – Geelong by 19
Western Bulldogs V Collingwood
The Pies are coming off a bye and a betting scandal this week and will be pumped to get back out on the park and put the off field stuff behind them.
The Bulldogs lost Libba last week to injury and have dropped a couple after only just scraping over the line against the Blues.
Quite simply the Pies are a far better team than the Dogs and I think they’ll be pumped up after the off field attention due to Jaidyn Stephensons gambling suspension.
Match Prediction – Collingwood by 55
