D’arcy Short has been the backbone of the Hurricanes team and is the second highest scorer in the league, only 1 run behind Cameron White. D’Arcy has been backed up by Ben McDermott and Matthew Wade. Joffra Archer who was a relative nobody before being brought into the BBL has been on fire taking 8 wickets for an economy rate of 6.55, Clive Rose and Cameron Boyce have also bowled ok.
The Heat have some of the biggest hitters in the BBL with Brendan McCullum, Ben Cutting and Joe Burns smashing a combined 22 sixes throughout the tournament. Yasir Shah is the most economical bowler in the league bowling at 5.08 while Doggett and Steketee have been taking wickets they can also be expensive at times.
I think the Heat will win this but i’ll be betting on the Heat for most sixes at CrownBet. The batting of McCullum, Cutting and Burns should see the Heat whack the most sixes.
