This season is proving a nightmare to select winners. Just when you think a team is getting on a roll like the Tigers they get knocked off by the Bulldogs. Hopefully this continues for the fans as it will be a fantastic season. However for tipsters it’s a nightmare.
Lets get into it!
Roosters V Broncos
The Broncos have not had the bounce they would have expected when they let Wayne Bennett go and signed Anthony Seibold. The young Broncos have struggled for consistency and Bennett’s Rabbitohs are flying and are 3 – 0.
The Roosters have won their last two on the trot and welcome back Cooper Cronk. It will be interesting to see if his return has any effect on Luke Keary who has been superb running the show in Cronk’s absence.
Jimmy the Jet Roberts misses out with injury. James Tedesco was superb last week and I believe the Roosters can keep on winning.
Tip: Roosters – 4.5 @ $2.00Bet now at Neds
Warriors V Titans
This is shaping as a must win for both teams. The Warriors were impressive in their first game of the season. They have followed up that win with two shockers. They were smashed by Manly last week and cannot afford another bad loss.
The Titans are without a win and if they go 4-0 it looms as a long season for them. They have been very poor in attack and relying on scoring tries from kicks.
I am going to show a bit of faith in the Warriors to bounce back but not with a high degree of confidence.

Panthers V Wests Tigers
The Tigers came back to earth with a bang last week when they got thumped by a winless Bulldogs outfit. The Panthers were also unimpressive in their thumping by Melbourne where they only managed to score two points.
The Tigers are in slightly better form but are hard to select here. I believe that Ivan Cleary will have his side primed for this match against the club he left.
So I am going to select that Panthers at home in a very tight match.
Tip: Panthers -4.5 @ $2.00Bet now at Neds
Manly V Rabbitohs
Tom Trbojevic showed how much means to the Sea Eagles, he was awesome in his return from injury. Addin Fonua Blake and Martin Tappau will continue to lay a platform for Manly.
However the Burgess boys are in good form and the guile of Damian Cook should be enough for the Rabbitohs to continue their unbeaten run in 2019.
Tip: Rabbitohs -4.5 @ $1.90Bet now at Neds
Cowboys v Raiders
The Raiders had a handy win over Newcastle last week and are looking to go 3 -1. Josh Hodgson is in reasonable form but yet to get into real top form, this may be the match if the Raiders forwards can get the ascendancy.
The Cowboys cannot seem to control a whole match they seem to play in spurts. Maybe they are still trying to find their identity post Thurston. Even though they are at home I cannot have the Cowboys without Taumololo.
Raiders for me in another close one.

Eels V Sharks
Both of these teams are travelling quite nicely. The signing of Blake Ferguson is looking like a great bit of business by the Eels. He is leading the competition for run metres with a total of 600.
The Sharks have a few injury worries with Matt Moylan ruled out.The is also a cloud over the fitness of veteran Paul Gallen.
There is never much between these two teams when they meet and I expect another close encounter this week. It is hard to split them however I am tipping the Eels to get over the line.
Tip: Eels @ $2.00Bet now at Neds
Storm V Bulldogs
What can you say about this Melbourne outfit. They go into this match with an unchanged line up. They will be primed for this match. The Bulldogs have won on their last three visits to Melbourne. This will be a record that the Storm will be determined to rectify.
The Storm even with the loss of Billy Slater look better this year and have stars on every line. Even though it is very early they are looking like one of the Grand Finalists.
The Bulldogs were very impressive last week in their win over the Tigers. This was reward for Dean Pay who is trying to reshape the club with limited funds.
I can only see one winner in this however the young Bulldogs should be looking at this as a measuring stick to see where they have to get to.
Melbourne to win convincingly.
Tip: Storm/Under 41.5Bet now at Neds
Knights v Dragons
This is a very difficult game to tip. There appears to be very little between these teams. Kalyn Ponga is going back to full back and this looks like it could be a decisive move in the outcome.
The battle between David Klemmer and James Graham should be worth tuning in for alone. The Dragons are well rested having had a long break since last Thursday’s match.
I am going to go for the Knights here due to the home ground advantage and the injury worries of the Dragons.
Knights in a close encounter.
